Bagels & Beans is a Dutch coffee bar franchise founded in 1996. It all started in the Ferdinand Bolstraat in Amsterdam where Ronald Bakker and Ninande Thio opened the first Bagels & Beans. As you would expect the company focuses their food menu around the bagel, a type of bread especially popular in the United States.
Bagels & Beans has more than 70 stores in the Netherlands which are all run by franchisees.
The coffee served in Bagels & Beans originates from the Janson family in Panama. The brand supports Coffee Kids, Musicforkids, schooling programs for the children of the coffee plantation in Panama and many more social and sustainable causes.
